I just discovered this photographer - I’ve no doubt that he & his process (watch a short video here:  http://vimeo.com/39578584) will be listed in the art history books as a contemporary master of photography.  What I wouldn’t give to intern with him for even a single day & to observe this incredible large scale wet-plate process.
